Lines, Textures, and Patterns - Abstraction
Investigate line, texture, and pattern through photography. Some things to keep in mind:
1) Think close up! Zoomed in - can you lose the identity of the object and make its texture or surface become the focal point? Example: A photo that is so zoomed in on a basketball, the color orange and the tiny bumps of the surface are all you can identify. Make sense?
2) Both man-made and natural. Experiment photographing a combination of things inside verses things outside. Nature gives us some of the coolest patterns and textures out there!
3) Make art! These photographs can easily become a piece of art based on the level of detail you capture, the way they are cropped, and how they are presented
